Basic block mould 120x60x60
Our basic block mould is used to produce the original lego-like concrete blocks and is available in various sizes.
These interlocking blocks can withstand heavy pressure loads. They can be used individually as a barrier, or as part of a wall. When used in a wall, the individual block gets its strength from the rest of the wall due to the interlocking concept.
Heavier blocks are designed to provide a solution for a large variety of projects including retaining walls, construction walls, storage bays, boundary walls, and security fences and barriers.
Constructions made of interlocking concrete blocks are frequently applied in the bulk material industry, waste disposal and recycling, agriculture and civil engineering.
Exchangeable parts
Expand the possibilities of interlocking concrete blocks even further by replacing the side walls of the mould to create a block of half or double the height. Replace the bottom and top plate to produce blocks of different lengths. Extend the lifespan of your mould by simply swapping out damaged or worn parts.
Each individual component can be bought separately from our store.
For more applications, see our special page . With a basic block and a set of interchangeable inserts, various block shapes can be produced.
Bottom plate 120×60
The bottom plate is the part of the mould with which the recesses on the bottom of the interlocking concrete block are created. Fitting the male side of one block into the female side of another is called the interlock principle. Interlocking concrete blocks are automatically horizontally and vertically aligned – thus stacking requires no special skills.
Because of the modular design of our moulds the bottom plate can be used for the production of various block sizes. The bottom plate can be connected to several side walls to produce blocks of various heights. Worn and damaged parts can simply be replaced. This is one of the many benefits of modular construction and extends the life span of our products.
Bottom plates can be used to form blocks of various lengths. Do not forget the loose connections needed to assemble all walls and the top and bottom plates.
Read more about our design principle to find out how to select and assemble the different available walls to produce various concrete block sizes and shapes.

Divider Plate Insert 60×60
Place the divider plate insert in the basic mould to produce multiple smaller blocks. The single blocks produced with this mould can be stacked to build walls. In walls with a running bond, the smaller (half) blocks can be used to make sure all rows of blocks have the same length. The smaller blocks are also useful on a standalone basis.
This insert can also be used together with the flat top insert to produce multiple concrete blocks with a smooth top surface. It is quick and easy to install the insert in the mould and to interchange it with other inserts.
Fixed connection 60
A mould construction can be assembled with a fixed connection. In our modular concept, two L-shaped walls are created by connecting a side wall with a bottom plate or a top plate. The corner connection that remains fixed while the mould is used is called the fixed connection. This robust quality connection is hot dip galvanized and holds both wall panels firmly together. This product fits all wall plates of the same width and is key to our modular solution to efficiently construct a broad range of moulds.

Flat Top Insert 120×60
Combine this insert with the basic mould to produce concrete blocks with a flat top. A block created with this insert will still have recesses in the bottom, but the top will be smooth. Blocks like these are often used for boundaries, fences and barriers.
The flat top insert is supplied with two shim plates. These plates are only required when combining the flat top insert with a divider plate insert to create enough space to assemble the items.
The insert can be effortlessly replaced by any other insert to produce other block shapes. Modular construction is key to the superior and efficient performance of all items Block Moulds offers.

Foot Block Insert 60×60
Concrete blocks produced with this mould allow you to build walls with a stronger and more stable base on the ground surface. The blocks are used in the first row to build walls that can withstand heavier loads.
Another advantage of these blocks is that they are less likely to be damaged by vehicles such as shovels. They are often used in the construction of push walls and storage bays. If you need the ‘foot’ shape on only one side of the concrete blocks? Just place one of the two insert plates into the mould.
Like all our interchangeable mould inserts this product is easy to install and uninstall in the basic mould construction.
Forklift Insert 60
Inserts for creating forklift slots in concrete blocks are a highly effective solution to use and move the multipurpose concrete blocks with ease. The required inserts can be easily mounted into the mould.
In many cases, a forklift is available to take the heavy concrete blocks off a truck and put them in place. The forklift slots allow easy placement.
Concrete blocks with integrated forklift slots are ideal to use as temporary (road) barriers, tent ballast blocks and counterweights in stage scaffolding structures for events and festivals. The slots are also useful as scuppers to drain rainwater.
Loose connection 60
The loose connection fits all side plates, bottom plates and top plates of the same width. A mould construction consists of two assembled L-shaped walls. On one side the L shape is made up of a bottom plate and a side plate. The other L-shape is composed of a top plate and a side plate. Together these components form the complete mould construction as shown in our modular design overview.
This connection can be used to close the mould before pouring concrete, and to open the mould when the product is ready. To lock the connections, wedges are placed in specially designated openings. The modular design allows the user to position the wedges more towards the outside of the mould construction, making locking and unlocking the mould much easier. The design also takes the use of a hammer to position the wedges into consideration to lower the risk of damage to the mould construction.

Mould opener
The mould opener is specially designed to open the L-shaped mould construction. Minimum force is required to release the concrete from the steel.
The mould can be released with a mould opener that fits in the mould construction in multiple ways. Of course the quality and proper application of the release agent (before pouring the concrete into the mould) play a role in the functioning of the opener.
This steel opener is hot-dip galvanised to protect it against corrosion and other external influences. Other protective paint systems would be easily damaged due to the nature of the use of this tool.
This robust product can be used with all our block moulds. Other protective paint systems would get damaged easily, with serious corrosion as a result. Our expertise and user experience are used to develop fit for purpose products based on proven technology.

Rooftop Divider Plate Insert 60×60
With the rooftop divider plate installed in the mould, smaller roof-shaped concrete blocks can be created. For this purpose, this product should always be combined with the rooftop insert. If you already own the rooftop insert this item will be a welcome addition to expand your block production capabilities.

Rooftop Insert 120×60
The top of a concrete block can be given a roof-like shape with this insert. Blocks with this shape are generally used for the last/ top row of walls. The sloping roof shape prevents material build-up on top of walls in situations where the level of stored bulk material rises above the flat vertical wall surface. An optimal solution for designing storage bays and push walls in agriculture, recycling, and the break-bulk industry.
The sloping roof shape is also perfect for security and safety purposes because the design prevents people from walking on top of walls.
Cast smaller blocks with a rooftop by installing an additional rooftop divider plate.

Side plate 60×60
Side plates for our moulds are available in various sizes. These plates determine the height of the concrete blocks. For selection of the right side wall size, the combination of the side wall and the top and bottom plate has to be taken into account. Together they determine the width of blocks.
The side plates connect the bottom and top plate. Two side walls are included in every mould delivery to enable you to create a complete mould construction.
If you would like to exchange one (1) wall to repair a damaged or worn mould, please contact us. Do not forget the loose connections needed to assemble all walls and the top and bottom plates.

Slope plate Insert 60×60
A mould with this insert installed allows the user to produce sloped blocks. This insert creates a slant on the long side, from the top side to the bottom side of the block.
Sloped blocks are frequently used to optimise the aesthetic value of walls. These sloped blocks can also be used to strengthen the wall by putting them on the bottom side of the wall adjacent to the load.

Stair insert 60×60
Build your concrete stair blocks using this addition to our basic mould. Mount the stair insert and pour concrete into the mould. The casted blocks form convenient stairs to move between levels. We recommend to implement a banister into the project design to ensure user safety. Stack more blocks to design longer stairs.
This insert fits in the basic block mould, as do the other inserts available for this mould size. Our thought-out, reconfigurable mould design gives users the freedom to produce various block forms with minimum resources.

Top plate 120×60
The top plate is a standard part of a mould used to cast concrete interlocking blocks. The top plate forms the studs on top of the concrete block as part of the interlocking principle. Various sizes are available in our shop. The top plate comes ready to be attached to the side wall to form an L-shape.
The advantages of the modular design are apparent on various fronts. The top plate can be connected to several side walls to produce concrete blocks of various heights. Worn and damaged parts can simply be replaced. Users of our moulds are not forced to invest in expensive new mould constructions, because the modular design of our products lengthens their lifespan.
Top plates can be used to form blocks of various lengths. Do not forget the loose connections needed to assemble all walls and the top and bottom plates.
